Who we are
Wyze Agency is a trading name of Alessio Giacometti, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. At the Wyze Agency, we build practical AI assistants for businesses.
Alessio Giacometti is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about it, email hello@wyzeai.agency.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us by email:
- your name
- your email address
- the content of your message
This website has no contact form and no user accounts. Please don't email us anything sensitive that we don't need in order to answer your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to provide our services to you.
Our lawful basis
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests: it is in our interests, and yours, for us to read and answer the messages you send us.
- Contract: where relevant, we use your information to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract with us, or to carry out a contract we have with you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for up to two years after our last contact with you, after which we delete them.
If you become a client, we keep the records we need for our work with you while that work continues, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep tax and accounting records, which is generally around six years.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the business, such as our email and website hosting providers, and only so that they can provide those services to us. We may also have to disclose information where the law requires it.
Processing outside the UK
Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual terms.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
To display the site, your browser downloads fonts from Google Fonts and, on the home page, a graphics library from the jsDelivr content delivery network. As with any request your browser makes, those providers and our hosting provider receive technical details such as your IP address, and may keep them in their own server logs. We do not use that information to identify you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (access)
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (correction)
- ask us to delete your information (deletion)
- object to our use of your information, or ask us to restrict it (objection)
- complain about how we have handled your information (complaint)
To use any of these rights, email hello@wyzeai.agency. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please email us first so that we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
